Mr and Mrs Biedzynski were married at the Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, MD, right outside of Baltimore on October 12, 2014. It was a beautiful, sunny morning when Max and I packed up the car to head to Shannon and Jeremy's home. The sun rays bathed our drive in warm reminders of hope and happiness. When we arrived, we were greeted by joy and laughter, which filled the house to the ceiling. Across town, Jeremy and his groomsmen sat on the couch, relaxing and joking around. Jeremy affixed his cufflinks to his shirt with steady hands, then proceeded to show them off. They were compasses! Shannon's gift to Jeremy was perfect and so fitting for her soon to be husband. After hair and makeup, Shannon slipped into her wedding dress. All of her details were gorgeous and so very well thought out! I loved the beautiful golden butterfly touches. Wouldn't you know they put the butterflies on her shoes on whim that day?
Overhills Mansion was a masterpiece, to say the least. We waited anxiously as guests arrived and found their seats. The outdoor ceremony area was beautiful, and when it came time to say "I do," everything seemed to glow. Honestly, I am not sure what made me cry first, Shannon's teary-eyed entrance or the beaming smile on Jeremy's face when he saw her. It was all so very magical.
After I dried my eyes, we had a great time wandering the grounds of the venue finding spots to snap a few portraits.
The reception area was classic and gorgeous. Centerpieces, made by the bride and groom themselves, were amazing symbols of their personalities. They had the coolest guestbook, a decorative wishing well. Guests picked up the smooth rocks, wrote their well wishes and tossed them into the well. With every seat filled, the reception began. Everything from the bride and groom's first dance to the pie cutting was fabulous. Best wishes to Shannon and Jeremy as they begin the new chapter in their life!
